We just wrapped this project up. A new addition to an existing dwelling. DW LDS completed the topographic survey and lot grading and drainage plan for the building permit application.

Septic Design!

We were retained to design a septic system for a new dwelling in Renfrew. We had to complete a topographic survey, site investigation to complete our design. Due to high bedrock and small property we designed a Ecoflo system dischargeling to a shallow buried trench. This system is being installed by .

New project alert! ⚠️

Today we started a new project at this beautiful property. DW LDS is retained to complete the lot grading & drainage plan and septic system design. Today we went to site to start the topographic survey and site investigation for the septic system. We used our Hiper VR GPS machine to complete the topo survey. just completed the tree cutting/clearing and dug test pits to identify the ground water elevation.

Introducting to you our new Topcon LN-150 Robotic Total Station. We have had this machine since the fall and have quickly realized this machine is a game change for us. We are now able to complete topographic surveys for any projects regarding if there are trees, near close buildings, etc. This machine follows our Topcon Hiper VR GPS machine that we bought last spring. These machines help us complete the field work we need to complete your grading plan, septic design, third party review and eventually site layout.

Ever wonder how we complete septic test pits and surveys in a rural setting during the winter? We haul everything in with toboggans! This particular project was supposed to be done in the fall but was delayed. To keep the timelines for spring construction we went out yesterday to complete our work. We had to walk approximate 1 km into the site to complete our work, cutting down trees and dealing with steep slopes. We definitely got our exercise yesterday! We're happy that we were about to get our work completed and to keep the timeslines of our clients.

We completed a lot grading and site servicing plan for six new dwelling being built in Wi******er just outside of Ottawa.

We now offer topographic surveys. About a month ago we received our new Hiper VR GNSS machine and we have been completing topographic surveys ever since. We use this information to complete our septic designs and lot grading and drainage plan.

Our client on this project was flooded twice over the spring. We surveyed the property and provided recommendations how to prevent flooding in the future.
