And just like that… we’ve made it to the final day of the 12 Days of Christmas Cleaning.

For today’s tip, it’s all about the Christmas Eve Reset — the one thing that makes Christmas morning feel calm instead of chaotic.

Tonight’s simple reset:
• Load the dishwasher
• Clear the counters
• Sweep or quick vacuum main floors
• Put away wrapping scraps
• Set out Christmas morning essentials

Today’s task isn’t really about cleaning — it’s about getting ahead so your house stays calm instead of chaotic the week of Christmas.

Wrapping gifts early means:
• less clutter sitting around
• no paper explosions at midnight
• way less stress on Christmas Eve

🎄 DAY 6 OF CHRISTMAS CLEANING 🎄
Today we’re tackling floors because nothing makes your home feel cleaner before Christmas than freshly washed floors.

Best hardwood floor tip:
Use steaming hot water + 1 teaspoon of Tide powder laundry soap.
It cuts grease, lifts dirt, and leaves floors clean without buildup or streaks.

Pro tip:
Always wring your mop out really well — hardwood floors should be damp, not wet.

🎄 DAY 5 OF CHRISTMAS CLEANING 🎄
Let’s tackle the oven, because nothing ruins holiday cooking faster than smoke from last year’s spills.

The easiest oven clean (trust me):
• The night before: heavily spray the inside, door, and racks
• In the morning: remove racks and soak them in hot water + a dishwasher pod — the grime literally falls off
• Use SOS pads to scrub the oven
• Wipe everything out with paper towel
• Finish with hot water + blue Dawn dish soap
• Windex the inside & outside glass
• Use a razor blade for any stubborn baked-on spots

It’s not fun… but it’s SO satisfying once it’s done.✅

🎄 DAY 4 OF CHRISTMAS CLEANING 🎄
Let’s talk about the most forgotten spot… BLINDS.

They collect dust all year, and you always notice them when guests are over and they notice them too 😬 A quick dust or wipe-down before Christmas makes a HUGE difference.

Grab a bucket of hot water and blue dawn dish soap. Just a sq**rt will do. Now dip the microfibre rag and dust and wash too to bottom, you can even get away with not doing the bottoms… don’t close the blinds until they are dry!! Takes some time but honestly makes a huge difference.

Quick tip:
Focus on the rooms guests will see most — living room, kitchen, entryway.

Be honest:
Do you clean your blinds…
• regularly
• once a year
• or only when company’s coming?
