Safe to say I seriously lack stranger danger. 🤷🏼‍♀️

In all seriousness though, it’s pretty amazing that people trust us with their homes. It never gets old, and it’s something I’ll never take for granted. 🤍✨

Building a business isn’t for the weak.
It’ll pull out every version of you — the exhausted one, the determined one, the one crying in the car, and the one celebrating the smallest wins like they’re gold.

There’s been lessons, tears, laughs, wins, losses… and a whole lot of figuring it out as I go.

People talk a lot about the freedom of “being your own boss” and creating your own schedule, but the first year of business will tell you everything you need to know about your work ethic, resilience, discipline, and how badly you want it.

No one sees the late nights, the stress, the self-doubt, the problem solving, or the moments you wanted to quit but showed up anyway.

But if you keep going?
You build more than a business.
You build proof that you can survive hard things.

1. Underestimating how long a home actually takes.

Thinking I could predict a clean from the doorway.
Absolutely not. A home can look “pretty clean” at first glance.
Now I know: you don’t know until you’re in it.
There’s a difference between wiping around things and actually cleaning and the build up involved.

2. Trying to clean fast instead over cleaning intentionally.

Speed gets the job done.
Systems get people rebooking.

3. Thinking every client was my ideal client.

The right clients value the process, the detail, and the people behind the work.
Not everyone is your client — and that’s a good thing.

It lost the vibe check

The company would never.. unless you say “I don’t want to see this again” say no more.

Honestly though?
It helps. Even just a little.

Something about resetting your space when your brain feels loud just hits different.

Because sometimes it’s not what’s inside…
it’s what you see every time you walk into the kitchen

Less smudges = less stress
(It’s science. Don’t question it.)
