Don't mind if I do! Cleaned this hot tub today for a gorgeous Airbnb on Hatzic Lake! After, I tackled the cabinet, cover and steps, it took a little extra time to fill, so I enjoyed the view! Good day to be on the lake. 🌊

Believe it or not, cutting up a hot tub is one of Alistair's least favourite jobs.

He'd much rather fix it, rebuild it, or find a way to squeeze a few more years out of it. But every now and then, a spa has simply reached the end of the road, and there's no practical way to remove it in one piece.

So... out comes the saw. 💔

It's loud.
It's dusty.
It's awkward.
And somewhere in the middle of it all, Alistair is quietly questioning his life choices. 😂

The neighbours, meanwhile, are peeking over the fence wondering if we're filming the world's least exciting action movie.

Rest in pieces, old friend. 🫡

(And yes... we always make sure it's disposed of responsibly.)

🥵 PSA: It's officially too hot... to sit in a hot tub. (Unless you're one of those crazy people!)

If stepping outside feels like opening the oven to check on your lasagna, a 104° soak probably isn't calling your name right now. 😂

But don't forget... your hot tub has a secret identity.

✨ Cool Tub Mode ✨

✔️ Turn the temperature down to around 80°F.
✔️ Pop the lid open for a while to let some of that trapped heat escape.
✔️ Top it up with a little cold water if you need a helping hand.
✔️ Grab your favourite beverage and enjoy your brand-new backyard plunge pool.

Voilà! You've gone from "human soup" to "ahhhh, that's better." 😎

Bonus points if you pretend you're at a luxury resort instead of 12 feet from your BBQ and a kid's abandoned pool noodle.

People often think a drain, clean & fill is just pulling the plug and adding fresh water.

If only it were that easy. 😅

The truth is, a lot of the "yuck" isn't floating around where you can see it—it's hiding away inside the plumbing. That's why our process starts before the water ever comes out.

We use a Drain Prep solution to loosen up hidden debris, crank up the filtration, and let everything circulate before draining. From there, it's a full rinse, wipe down, vacuum, refill, clean of the cover, filter and cabinet, and finally balancing the water so it's ready for you to enjoy.

It's a little bit science, a little bit elbow grease, and just a tiny bit of satisfaction from watching all that gunk disappear. 😉

When’s the last time your hot tub had a proper clean? 👀

Not a “ehhh we drained it… kinda wiped it… good enough” clean.
I’m talking a DETAIL job… but for your hot tub.
I do full drain, clean & refill services and I get right in there — inside, outside, jets, shell, the whole thing. It’s basically spring cleaning for your spa so you don’t have to add another thing to your to-do list. 🙌

You relax. I’ll deal with the gross stuff.
