Last night, our Director and Owner of the business, Daniel was extremely grateful to accept this award as a proud veteran-owned business.

A message from Daniel:

"I just want to thank everyone for being a part of the journey so far! Last night I was extremely grateful to accept an award at the inaugural Veteran Business Community Awards VetCon26 in the Trades and Construction category as a Veteran Owned Business.

Over 400 business nominations for 12 award categories. I was stoked for our company to be named a finalist, but we got the chocolates!

About the Role
Join Arafura Pest Control, a Territory & Veteran Owned Company, as a Pest Control Technician in the Kimberley. This role combines professional pest management with the adventure of remote work — you’ll travel to communities like Kalumburu and experience iconic sights such as Lake Argyle and Wyndham while making a real impact on public health.

What You’ll Do
• Inspect and treat pests in homes and businesses
• Diagnose issues and recommend solutions
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Travel across the Kimberley for remote assignments

• Pest Management Technician Licence – General Pest Control (Essential)
• Statement of Attainment in Timber Pest (Highly Desirable)

• Ability to obtain police clearance and Working with Children check (Essential)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and remote assignments
• First Aid qualification (Preferred)
