QUOTING – Why We Ask So Many Questions?

When we ask for things like:

• Your address (so we can look up the rental listing)
• Fittings and fixtures
• Finishes and floor size

Along with questions such as:

• How long have you lived there?
• Do you have pets or children?
• Do the walls need washing?
• When was the last time the oven was cleaned?..we're not being nosey.

We're trying to get the most accurate idea of what we're walking into so we can provide a fair quote without having to inspect the property first.

The address lets us look up the home's layout and features, including floor size, number of windows, vertical or Venetian blinds, stone or laminate benchtops, the age of the property, and much more.

That means fewer questions for you and a quicker, more accurate quoting process.
Pets and children can also make a significant difference to the time and work involved.

Let's be honest—kids and pets are wonderful, but they're also experts at creating messes in the most unexpected places!

Knowing this helps us arrive prepared... even if that means mentally preparing ourselves for the dehydrated slice of cheese hiding behind the toilet that nobody knew was there. 😂

And why do we ask when the oven was last cleaned?

Because a regularly maintained oven can take around two hours to clean properly. An oven that hasn't been cleaned in four years? That's a completely different job.

The more information you can give us upfront, the more accurate our quote will be—and there are no nasty surprises for either of us on cleaning day.
