Days 5 and 6

Day 5 was a much-needed rest day. We ended up hanging out with some adorable little friends before heading to the airport to fly up to Chiang Mai. We only added another 7.6k steps and almost 6km to our tally.

Day 6 we explored our new local area to see what was about. We found some more temples, then headed out to the local street markets for dinner, adding a further 16.7k steps and 13km walked.

Day 3 was another busy day.

We went up to Wat Mahathat, an ancient temple, for a look around. Then, after a little bit of downtime, we decided to head to Siam Center for dinner and had our first Michelin-star dishes.

It was a slower day on the steps, totaling only about 15k steps and almost 13km in distance.

What a trip so far!

Day one, we traveled the back roads and side alleys to get to the Golden Buddha Temple. Then, after a quick break, we set out toward the Grand Palace. In total, we walked a nice little 22 km and about 28k steps in 35°c heat.

Day two, we set out towards Chatuchak Weekend Market to have a look around. After that we then decided to head over to Lumphini Park in the evening to meet some of the locals (monitor lizards, turtles, and more). In all, we ended up walking about 15 km and a another 20k steps in 32°c heat.
