Business Update – Moving Forward Together

We would like to thank all of our customers for their patience and support following the fire. We’re pleased to share an update on where things stand and the progress we’ve made.

As of last week, the final piece of machinery has been installed at our East Gosford store. With this now complete, all three of our locations — East Gosford, Erina Fair, and Westfield Tuggerah — are operational.

We are happy to confirm that we are once again able to accept work and are back to full operation, including our sewing and repair department. While we have had to make some significant changes to our business following the fire, we are focused on moving forward and continuing to provide the best service possible to our customers.

At this time, there are a few items we are unfortunately unable to clean until further notice:

Pillows

Oversized mattress toppers (due to machine size limitations)

Rubber-backed curtains

All other curtains are subject to size and condition and will need to be assessed prior to acceptance.

We would also like to advise that our insurance company has been contacting affected customers in relation to their claims. We understand this has been a long and drawn-out process, and we appreciate your patience. The insurer is working through the list of affected customers to determine loss adjustments for items impacted by the fire.

We’re also excited to share that business shirts are back — a long-awaited return for many of our customers. Our shirt machine was installed last Wednesday, testing has been completed, and we’re ready to go. Our popular 5 Business Shirts for $30 special is now available again.

Customer Update 22.9.25

Dear Valued Customers,

We are pleased to share that our insurance claim has now been approved following a lengthy and thorough investigation process over the past month. The insurance provider will begin working through the list of affected customers to process individual claims. As there are several hundred customers impacted, we kindly ask for your continued patience as this process may take some time. Rest assured, all claims will be addressed.

In other positive news, we have ordered new dry cleaning machinery and are in the process of transforming our East Gosford store back into a cleaning facility. For those who may remember, this location was previously our main dry cleaning site. With the arrival of new equipment, we anticipate resuming operations there in approximately six weeks — a significant and exciting step forward.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and ongoing support throughout this challenging period. Our team has been working diligently to ensure our customers are prioritised by the insurer, while also focusing on re-establishing operations to continue serving our community.

UPDATE

Dear Valued Customers,

We regret to inform you that due to a recent factory fire, which resulted in the total loss of our dry cleaning facility, we are currently unable to provide dry cleaning services until further notice.

However, we are still able to offer the following services:

Alterations

Laundry bag washes

Bedding (excluding wool items)

We are working diligently to restore our operations and will keep you updated as equipment is replaced and services become available again. Please note that this process will take time, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this period.

For customers whose items were lost in the fire, we are currently retrieving records from our systems to identify all affected orders. Once this process is complete, impacted customers will be contacted directly by our insurance provider to discuss next steps. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for bearing with us as we work through these challenges.

We are committed to resuming full operations as soon as possible and truly appreciate your continued support.

Important Update from Springfresh Dry Cleaners

To our valued customers,

It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our main dry cleaning factory and Head Office in Wyoming was destroyed in a devastating fire on Friday night around 8:30pm 9/8/25. As a third-generation, family-owned business, this loss has deeply impacted us, and we are heartbroken by the extent of the damage. This not only affects the community and customers but all the employees and families who have been with our company for many years.

We are incredibly grateful to report that no one was injured in the incident — the safety of our team and community is always our highest priority. Praise must go out to the local NSW Fire Service, Police and other emergency services who were impeccable with their efforts.

At this time, we are unable to carry out any dry cleaning and laundry work until further notice. We are looking into temporary solutions to try get operations and services back online ASAP.
We are still able to offer alteration services, and we welcome customers who require this service.

We understand many of you have questions — particularly those with garments currently in our care. At present, we are unable to access any items that were on that site at the time of the fire. However, please rest assured that we are working hard to contact all affected customers individually and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available. We sincerely apologise for the uncertainty and appreciate your patience.

We are currently awaiting the completion of official investigations and insurance assessments. While we don’t yet know when this process will be finalised, we are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.

Our newly renovated Erina Fair store has reopened this week. We are thrilled with the result and we'd love to say a special thank you to all the customers loving the new look!

Our newly renovated store at Tuggerah Westfield is complete and looking fantastic.

Erina Fair is also currently undergoing major renovations (we have temorarily relocated inside in between Big W and NIB). We cannot wait to show you the finished result soon.

Our Tuggerah store is currently being renovated (approximately 1 week). We are still open at our temporary pop up stall just 15m from our main shop. Located just outside Sushi Hub and the Bookstore. We are operating normally so all orders can be dropped off and picked up as per usual 😊.

We thank you for your support and cooperation over the last few months. It's been a rough few months of trading as it has for everyone in Australia however we are excited moving forward. We can't wait to see you all again soon.
