This turned out to be a mission to get done. Installed new filter and moved the equipment to the pool area instead of up near the house. Left there at 8pm and still haven't finished, going back this morning so I'll put up more pics when it's completed. Backwash line for some reason was run up and over the Chlorinator which put a lot of weight and pressure on the barrel union which eventually gave way. Fitted new barrel union and re plumbed the backwash line behind the filter head and into the downpipe. No more leaks and a lot less stress on the system
