Meet Charlie!

For 9-year-old Charlie from Molong, there’s nothing that quite beats a ride on his bike.

So much so, that when he heard a radio ad for a cycling fundraiser to help sick kids, he begged his parents to sign him up!

This February, he’s pounding the pedals for a cause, with every kilometre he clocks raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The young lad originally set out to ride 20km and raise $350 for the charity. Thanks to some amazing support, he’s raised more than $1200 in the first few days!

Now, he’s doubled his ride, aiming to pedal 40km.

What an absolute legend. Keep up the brilliant work, Charlie!

Jeff and his famous truck are back this year to display how a rabbiter's camp looked like back in the 1920s-1930s. It was a tough, lonely life but was a common job for rural people in the Great Depression when rabbit fur exports exceeded wool.
