Kia makeover

Coming in for a silver tier detail, this kia was subject first to a full exterior wash. This includes decontamination, tar and iron removal and finally wax. For the inside, beside the usual thorough clean, all seats were removed and wet vacuumed, floors cleaned of mould, and UV protected applied.

“Do i need to paint?”

One of the most common questions we get asked is do i need to paint, majority of the time that question is no.

Modern techniques and products for paint corrections have come such a long way now, i’m confident in saying if there is clear coat, we can fix it.

Why are paint corrections better than repainting?

For one it keeps your original paint on the car which is obviously important if you own a classic. Correction is also much cheaper than a whole new paint job, even with a close door! Also if you repaint , chances are you are going to have to correct anyway because painters sand back areas or even buff the paint themself.

Do you have chalky white paint?

This is caused by something called oxidisation. This happens because of overexposure to UV , it degrades the paint and releases pigment to the surface. resulting in a chalky , powdery residue.

This is something we can easily fix AND prevent .
