Our first year delivering full septic waste services at Party In The Paddock … and we didn’t just show up, we absolutely owned it.

Big days. Long nights. Pumps running. Trucks hauling.
The team stepped up, backed each other, and kept one of Tassie’s biggest festivals flowing without missing a beat.

Let’s just say… the amount of litres moved off site over four days was enough to fill a few backyard pools 👀💧

And we did it the right way, safely, efficiently, and without the crowd ever noticing the hard work behind the scenes.

Massive shout-out to our legends at Devonport Septics for rolling in with the big truck and backing us all the way. That’s how local crews get it done 🤝

🚧 WE’RE HIRING – FENCING TEAM MEMBER (SOUTH TAS) 🚧

Full Time – Immediate Start Available

Link Hire is growing and we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to join our Southern Fencing Team.

We supply and service temporary fencing and portable toilets for construction sites, farms and major events right across Tasmania – so no two days look the same.

👷 ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a physical, hands-on role, not just driving.
You’ll be:
• Working as part of our Fencing Team on sites and events
• Setting up and removing temporary fencing and portable toilets
• Loading and unloading equipment
• Assisting with deliveries and site setup
• Representing Link Hire professionally on site

Working hours may vary depending on workload, site requirements and event schedules.

✅ WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• Manual driver’s licence (MR licence an advantage)
• Forklift licence
• White Card (or willing to get one)
• Good attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to handle physical work
• Reliable and punctual
• Flexible with working hours when required

We’re excited to introduce the Rapid Deployment Quad Toilet Trailer to both our Northern and Southern fleets.

Fully equipped with fresh-water flushing toilets, fold-down access steps and an integrated hand-wash station, this unit is built on a heavy-duty trailer frame with stability legs on all four corners, making it safe, sturdy and quick to deploy.

Important Announcement – Honouring Matthew Mitchell

Many of our team worked closely with Mat over the years. He was not only a valued employee for a time, but later became a trusted client and a genuine friend to many of us.

His passing has deeply affected our Link Hire family, and we want to ensure our team has the opportunity to pay their respects. As a result, we will have a small crew operating Thursday afternoon.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding during this difficult time.

Our thoughts are with Mat’s family, friends, the Cerberus Security Protection family, and all those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
