🏁 Another year of the Tasmanian Supercars completed by our awesome team.

Unfortunately, we didn't get many photos this year — when you're flat out getting the job done, stopping for pictures isn't always high on the priority list!

What we did manage was:

✔ 300+ temporary fence panels
✔ 550m of block out installed
✔ 800+ fence feet moved in and out
✔ 200 crowd control barriers deployed
✔ 22 portable toilets supplied
✔ 3,220 cable ties used

Behind every major event is a dedicated crew putting in the hard yards before the gates open and long after the crowds have gone home.

A huge thank you to our team for another successful Supercars event. We're incredibly proud of the effort, professionalism and commitment shown throughout the week.

🚧 WE’RE HIRING – SITE SERVICES TEAM 🚧

North & South Tasmania

Due to ongoing growth, Link Hire is looking for a reliable, hands-on team members to join our Residential Site Services (RSS) crew.

This role will commence as casual, with the opportunity to move into a full-time position for the right person.

You’ll be working across new home builds - keeping sites clean, safe, and up to our “Site Proud” standard - as part of a small, solid team that backs each other every day.

💪 What you’ll be doing:
Cleaning and maintaining building sites
Installing and removing temporary fencing
Managing waste cages, bags, and general site debris
Assisting with deliveries and general labouring
Working across construction, events, and agri when needed

👊 What we’re looking for:
Driver’s licence (manual preferred)
Physically fit and happy working outdoors
Reliable — turns up and gets stuck in
Can work on your own or in a team
Takes pride in doing a proper job

WHAT. A. WEEKEND. 🔥🎶

Our first year delivering full septic waste services at Party In The Paddock … and we didn’t just show up, we absolutely owned it.

Big days. Long nights. Pumps running. Trucks hauling.
The team stepped up, backed each other, and kept one of Tassie’s biggest festivals flowing without missing a beat.

Let’s just say… the amount of litres moved off site over four days was enough to fill a few backyard pools 👀💧

And we did it the right way, safely, efficiently, and without the crowd ever noticing the hard work behind the scenes.

Massive shout-out to our legends at Devonport Septics for rolling in with the big truck and backing us all the way. That’s how local crews get it done 🤝

Could not be prouder of this crew.

Full Time – Immediate Start Available

Link Hire is growing and we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to join our Southern Fencing Team.

We supply and service temporary fencing and portable toilets for construction sites, farms and major events right across Tasmania – so no two days look the same.

👷 ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a physical, hands-on role, not just driving.
You’ll be:
• Working as part of our Fencing Team on sites and events
• Setting up and removing temporary fencing and portable toilets
• Loading and unloading equipment
• Assisting with deliveries and site setup
• Representing Link Hire professionally on site

Working hours may vary depending on workload, site requirements and event schedules.

✅ WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• Manual driver’s licence (MR licence an advantage)
• Forklift licence
• White Card (or willing to get one)
• Good attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to handle physical work
• Reliable and punctual
• Flexible with working hours when required
