The houses around this premises have all had termite activity in the last 18 months, as you can see the owner of this property has stacks of timber around yard and under house for years and was told last year to remove these stacks of timber.
I checked under this house 12 months ago and there was no termite activity in building or in timber piers only in some timber in ground in subfloor and also in garage timbers at rear.
Client didn't want any treatment done and all this activity has occurred over the last 12 months with damage to VJ timbers in kitchen area and timber piers in subfloor.
This is an example of why you should have 6-12 monthly timber pest inspections depending on environmental conditions around the building be carried out on your property to minimise damage to your building and have some form of chemical treated zone installed or a termite baiting system installed.
