Think again!
One of the big myths we hear is that homes on concrete stumps with ant caps are protected from termites. Unfortunately, that’s not the case!
In this photo, you can clearly see termites have built a mud tube directly up the outside of the concrete stump, straight over the ant cap and into the house. Fortunately for the owner, KPC were able to eliminate the termite activity and protect the entire house from future termite attack.
Ant caps are designed to make termite activity easier to detect — not to stop termites.
