WE ARE HIRING
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Mechanic to join our team at the Wangaratta Pump Shop. As a Pump Mechanic (suitable to Plumbing and Mechanical trades), you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of industrial and commercial pumps for our diverse client base. This full-time role is based in our Wangaratta workshop.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair a variety of pump systems, including centrifugal, positive displacement, and submersible pumps

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and overhauls on pumps and associated equipment

Provide technical support and advice to clients on pump selection, installation, and operation

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all repair and maintenance work

Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our workshop processes and procedures

What we're looking for

A person with the following is desirable but not mandatory

Some knowledge in Mechanical and, Pump Maintenance, or a related field

Experience as a Pump Mechanic, with a proven track record of successful pump repairs and maintenance

Technical knowledge of pump systems, hydraulics, and mechanical principles

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills

Strong customer service orientation and communication skills

Commitment to workplace health and safety
