VE SS PAINT RESTORATION & CERAMIC COATING

Purchased new in 2011, the owner thought it was time to give this VE Manual SS some serious love with a complete exterior restoration including the interior. Over the week ahead, the following was meticulously carried out;

- completely interior reset
- decontamination wash
- removal of all water spotting/ etching in all glass.
- engine bay overhaul
- wheels were removed and clean/ polished rims and barrels ready for ceramic coating
- multistage paint correction to 95+ %

Once the SS was all done we gave our final wash and check over before ceramic coating was applied.

- Dok Do 10yr dual layer coating applied to all paint.
- Rims/ brakes were ceramic coated front and inside
- All glass coated
- Plastics/ door jams and inside the fuel cap were also ceramic coated.

Heavy water spots were etched into all paint work and glass, so after we paint/ glass corrected all surfaces, the ceramic coating was applied to the whole exterior including paint, glass, flares, plastics and side steps (even the number plates).

FIREBALL CERAMIC COATING

🔥This VF SS 2017 visited the shop for an exterior overhaul including a full paint correction. We sealed all the hard work in with a ceramic coating...the video does not do this car justice!!

The SS now looks better than when it rolled off the production line in 2017 and will be protected for years to come.

I want to say a huge Thankyou to Wayne and Kel for trusting us with their pride and joy. It was a pleasure to work with you both.

The beautiful black metallic paint was heavily scratched and defected, so multiple steps were taken to get these results. This extensive process required close to 40 hours of labour.

The process involves:
- Iron/ Tar Decontamination
- Clay Bar all paint and glass
- Exterior Wash and Door Jams
- Wheel face and barrels degreased/ cleaned and under guards.
- Engine bay detailed
- Multiple stage paint correction to remove 95%+ swirls/ scratches and imperfections to make the paint glow, with maximum durability for the ceramic coating.
