Today our team at United Home Services Wallan donated a full clean of a residential home in Longwood that was used as a staging area during the recent Victorian bushfires.
We live local. We watched the smoke. We packed things just in case. Some of our own staff had to leave their homes. And we know, without question, that the only reason many of us are still standing here is because of the men and women who stood in front of those fires.
Seeing this land in person, blackened and silent, makes it real in a way the news never can.
This clean wasn’t about business. It wasn’t about promotion.
It was about community, gratitude, and doing something small when people around us did something enormous.
To every firefighter, volunteer and support worker who worked through these fires, who left their families, who pushed through exhaustion and danger to protect people they don’t even know – thank you will never feel big enough, but it’s what we have.
We are deeply grateful. ❤️🔥
And we are so proud of our team.
