Omg it's cold but perfect for some Whale watching down on the South Coast

WHALE SIGHTINGS - Saturday, 22 June 2024

What a glorious day it has been with a few lucky sightings!

🐳🐳🐳 2.15pm - Three Southern Right Whales were sighted out from Coolawang Creek, Waitpinga. This location is a bit further along the coast from Parsons Beach and Sheepies Beach. The whales are still travelling in a south west direction along the coast.

🐳🐳 1.21pm - Two Southern Right Whales have been sighted one kilometre south of 'Sheepies Beach', which is further along the coast, west from Parsons Beach (along the Heysen Trail, however there is no public access)

🐳🐳 10:38am - Two Southern Right Whales have been spotted only 100 meters from the shore at Waitpinga Beach, Waitpinga. Reports are that they have been putting on a bit of a show, breaching and are travelling West. They were last spotted from Parsons Beach Lookout.
