Deep cleaning is a whole other ball game 😅

11/10/2026

Gethin is on a deep clean & oven clean today…so today is our first day where I’ll be taking both kids to the workshop, and hopefully getting one to nap while I do emails & admin.
Let’s work on this work-life balance 🤍

Wish me luck 🙊😅

✨ FLEURIEU PENINSULA, WE NEED YOUR HELP! ✨

We’ve got a little question for our amazing local community! 👀

If you could have ONE cleaning job taken off your hands tomorrow, what would it be?! ✨

🚿 Scrubbing the shower & grout?
🪟 Cleaning those windows?
🍳 Tackling the oven you've been avoiding?
🧹 Giving the whole house a proper deep clean?
🏡 Getting your home ready to sell?
🧺 Or just having someone come in and take the pressure off?!

Tell us in the comments! 👇 We'd genuinely love to know what everyone dreads cleaning the most! 😂

For those who don't know us, we're Sweep & Shine, a locally owned cleaning business servicing Victor Harbor, Goolwa, Port Elliot, Middleton, Encounter Bay, Hindmarsh Island and surrounding areas! 🌊

We've been working incredibly hard behind the scenes, expanding our team and training our wonderful staff!

And now, for the first time in a LONG time…

🎉 WE HAVE AVAILABILITY FOR NEW BOOKINGS! 🎉

Whether you need a regular helping hand, a one-off refresh, an end of lease clean, pressure washing or something a little more challenging, our team would love to help.

We're a small local business with BIG ambitions, and every booking, recommendation, comment and share genuinely means the world to us.

✨ So let's get chatting! What's the ONE job you'd happily never clean again? 😂

When running a family business, the kids are involved too 😅

One of the spare rooms in the workshop we’ve turned into a playroom for both our children to hangout in or nap, which means we’re able to still be at work doing the necessary jobs behind the scenes!

The goal is for us to have more of a work-life balance, be able to reply to customers during work hours & not at 10pm at night 😅

Also, all of the team members children have had a play & hangout…apparently it’s the new cool spot to hang out 😎🥹

The colouring pens, paint & messy stuff is hidden in a cabinet until one certain child, not mentioning names…FFION, stops eating everything 😭

Running a family business isn’t a job, it’s a lifestyle 🤍✨

These jobs are just another level of satisfying. Words honestly can’t describe it! 🤍

I haven’t shared many of the “before” photos out of respect for the people involved and to protect their privacy and mental health. There is always a story behind a home, and absolutely zero judgement from us. Always.

This job was about bringing this home back to a safe, workable space 🤍

We ripped up carpets. Scrubbed windows. Scraped skirting boards. Removed rubbish, grime and contamination. We worked our way through it, bit by bit, trying to bring this home back to life.

I can’t share the full extent of what we walked into, but seeing a blank slate at the end of a very long day was incredibly rewarding for my team 🤍

There’s still work to be done, but we achieved what we set out to do. We made the property safe for people to actually work in again.

A massive first day, and we’ll be back once the owners have finished their renovations to continue the transformation✨

The new owners & this beautiful bones of a home…this is why we do what we do 🤍

🙈 - sorry for the repost. I tried to time it on my phone to post automatically but it’s had a meltdown 😅

✨ BEFORE & AFTER ALERT ✨

Did you know there are currently around 12 properties on the market that we’ve helped get ready for their sale photos? 🙊🏡

When it comes to selling, first impressions matter & our goal is to get your home looking fresh, clean and photo-ready before it hits the market! ✨

We scrub the grout.
We clean the surfaces.
We clean the windows.
We pressure wash the outside.
We tackle all those little details that build up over the years…but they’re details buyers notice 👀

Basically, we do everything we can to make your home ✨ POP ✨

Whether you’re selling your home, needing a full refresh, preparing for an inspection, or moving out and need an End of Lease clean. We’ve got you covered! 🫡✨

WE’RE BACK! 🤍

What a crazy week away with the little ones exhausting, chaotic, but SO worth it! 🥹🤍

I’ve got a late night ahead of me tonight catching up on all things admin and getting everything back to square one!

On a more serious note, I know there are people who I’ve let down when it comes to replying to messages and organising bookings. I genuinely do try my best to stay on top of everything, but between expanding our team, training new staff, moving into our new workshop and then getting ready for our family holiday… I fell behind. And for that, I’m really sorry 🤍

I would be forever grateful for a fresh start.

✅ Our family holiday is done
✅ Our new staff are trained
✅ We’ve found our groove
✅ And we’re ready to get stuck back into it!

So, if you’ve messaged me and I haven’t responded…PLEASE, PLEASE message me again! 🙏🏼
You are absolutely not bothering me. I want to hear from you!

I’ve got the rest of this week set aside to get everything caught up and back to where it needs to be.

And some exciting news… we now have availability EVERY DAY! 🥳
We’ve expanded our amazing team, which means we can take on so many more bookings, we even have availability tomorrow! 👀

✨ Regular residential cleaning
✨ Oven cleaning
✨ Pressure washing
✨ Pre-sale cleans before photos & inspections
✨ End of lease cleans
✨ Builders cleans
✨ Deep cleans & one-off cleans
✨ Decluttering & more!

If you’ve been thinking about booking Sweep & Shine, now is the perfect time to send me a message!

Fresh start. Bigger team. More availability. We’re back! ✨🤍

It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but going to see Monster Jam in Melbourne is genuinely the highlight of our year 🏁🛻

We’ve saved all year for this family holiday, and I’ll be honest… I fully teared up when all the trucks came out 🥹

Watching our son’s face completely light up made all the hard work, saving & planning just feel… worth it 🤍

There’s something so incredibly special about watching your little boy see the toys he plays with every single day suddenly come to life right in front of him. As a parent, it’s one of those moments you just want to bottle up forever

Core memory made 🥹🏁

Enjoy this little montage I made of yesterday’s event! 🛻💨
