Pest Control, Termite Inspection, Termite Treatment, Termite Barriers, Termite Renewals. LessPest More Control was founded by husband and wife team, Ryan and Rachel in 2018 with zero clients. Since then it has grown to a team of three (2 techs, 1 admin) and 2 pest utes on the road with over 200, 5 Star Google Reviews. LessPest was born out of Ryan's frustration for lack of efficient management in companies he worked for which lead to low moral and Rachel's job was made redundant after the 2017 Murwillumbah floods. With Ryan's Pest Control skills and Rachel's Management skills; the stars seemed to align and LessPest More Control was born! Offering both Residential & Commercial to the Gold Coast, Tweed Coast & Logan area - specialising in Termite & Pest Managment and Pre-Purchase Inspections. "We may not be the largest pest control company on the Gold Coast but we have the biggest heart." With over 200 online 5 star reviews our customers say it best! "Where high tech solutions meet old fashioned customer service."

⛈️👀You might see these tonight!
The photo shows Termites that have lost their wings (de-alates).

🔴Winged Termites - head & abdomen (2 parts)
🔴Winged Ants - head, thorax & abdomen (3 parts)

When there is humidity, storms brewing and it's nearing dusk, termites with wings (alates) will leave the nest and swarm trying to start a new colony.
The majority of these flying termites will drop, loose their wings (de alates) & die.

Flying Termites will be attracted to light, just like moths.

Things you can do to lessen the chance of swarms flying into your home are:

🔴Seal gaps,
🔴Close windows, garage roller door & doors inside the home.
🔴Turn off porch lights & lights that aren't needed inside.
🔴Draw blinds/curtains.

The rain has set in for the week & now is the best time for your Termite Inspection.

Termites love moisture and the rain helps us identify areas around your home, that could be making it more attractive for Termite attack.

🐜Ants are on the front line for most annoying pest at the moment.

Did you know when they are dead or disconnected from the nest (clumped together) like in this photo, that is a great pest control result and the product is working and they are dying.

As sometimes requested, please be aware, we can not get them to die outside or somewhere else more suitable.

We are Pest Controllers not the pied piper 🤣 ️🧙‍♂️

We’re all looking forward to the weather getting hot and steamy…but not the pests! 🫣

Because when the temperature rises, the pests start getting busy 😆🪳🦟🐜

More heat = more activity
More activity = more breeding
More breeding = more pests!

Get your Pest Application down now, so it's active.
