Cinematographer Mason Horacek () began filming skateboarding tricks with friends, a hobby that steadily grew into a career behind the camera. Today, he’s shooting commercials and documentaries with the Sony FX3 and Ninja, using Ninja’s anamorphic tools and ProRes RAW recording to push his images further.

“I use my Sumo all the time - not only as the director's monitor, but also for HDR grading in the edit suite, a backup recorder, a quad-split display for multicam, and a switcher for smaller OBs. My Sh**un is my primary Steadicam monitor, my Ninja lives on the FX6 as both monitor and backup recorder, and the Shinobi stays on the FX30. I use the calibrator regularly to keep everything accurate, which was a standout feature for me compared to other monitors.”
