Why Grout recolouring?
When grout has been installed in the wrong colour, or when existing grout has become aged, stained, or dirty, epoxy grout recolouring is often the best solution.
Unlike traditional grout removal and replacement, our process is non-destructive. We do not cut out or remove the existing grout. This means there is no risk of chipped tile edges, no unnecessary disturbance to the tiled surface, and no risk from deep grout removal around waterproofing membranes or underfloor heating systems.
This is why we do not offer grout removal, whether the grout is old or new. Removing grout can create avoidable damage, and even newly installed grout can discolour again if it is left unsealed.
Our epoxy recolouring system solves both problems at once. It changes the grout colour and seals the grout lines at the same time.
The result is a clean, even, and consistent finish where all grout lines are the same colour throughout the entire area. The epoxy treated grout lines do not fade over time, are easy to maintain, and help stop dirt, stains, grime, and other contaminants from bonding to the surface.
Our epoxy also includes a mould-resistant additive, making it ideal for bathrooms, showers, kitchens, laundries, commercial areas, and other tiled spaces exposed to moisture or heavy use.
Compared with grout removal and replacement, epoxy grout recolouring offers a number of important advantages:
• No tile damage from grout removal (no dust)
• No chipped or rough tile edges
• No deep cutting near waterproofing or underfloor heating
• No need to remove and replace grout
• Same colour finish across all grout lines
• Epoxy sealed colour does not fade over time
• Dirt and grime cannot easily bond to treated grout lines
• Easy ongoing maintenance
• Mould-resistant additive included
• Long-lasting finish of up to 15 years
• More affordable than full grout replacement
• Most areas can usually be used again after approximately 24 hours
This makes epoxy grout recolouring a safer, cleaner, and more professional solution for correcting grout colour issues or refreshing aged grout without causing unnecessary damage to the tiled area.
