What is dip sealing — and why is it something you should consider?

Dip sealing is a process where natural stone tiles are fully immersed in a penetrating sealer before they’re installed.

This allows the sealer to pe*****te all sides of the stone, helping to protect it from moisture absorption, staining and efflorescence.

It’s especially worth considering for porous natural stones such as limestone, travertine and sandstone — particularly in wet areas, around pools or in locations where moisture can be an issue.

The key is getting it done before installation to reduce efflorescence and mositures issues. Once the stone is laid, you can only seal the exposed surfaces.

Before Tile Cleaning Solutions, John spent many years owning and operating small businesses, building a strong understanding of customer service, quality workmanship, and what it takes to look after clients properly. Johns loves to travel and spend time with his family. He is also a tragic Dragons supporter

As for me, i have a background in wall and floor tiling, providing firsthand knowledge of how tiled and stone surfaces are installed, maintained, and restored. In my spare time youl find me out in the surf or travelling with my wife and kids.

By combining business experience with trade knowledge, we saw an opportunity to create a specialist service focused on helping homeowners and businesses restore, protect, and maintain their tile, grout, and natural stone surfaces.

Today, 20 years on, we work side by side delivering professional cleaning, restoration, sealing, and maintenance solutions across Sydney and Central Coast.
