Last week, a few of us from Team Gerrbik swapped our comfy beds for the the back of our car spending a night in support of the Melbourne Airport Carpark Sleep Out.

Every night, countless women and children across Victoria face an impossible choice: stay in danger or leave everything behind in search of safety. Family violence remains the leading cause of homelessness for women and children in our state.

We’re proud to stand behind and sponsor such a powerful cause, helping raise awareness and support for those who need it most.

Gerrbik Laundry is proud to team up with Juno, McAuley & Melbourne Airport in their vital work across Melbourne — supporting women, non-binary people and children experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness after fleeing family violence.

💙 Some of our team will be spending the night in the back of our cars to raise funds and awareness for this invaluable cause. We also have a limited number of tickets available if you’d like to share this powerful experience with us.

We’ve come a long way since 2019 — and honestly, it hasn’t been an easy road. But we’re proud to say we’re still standing, and thriving, after every challenge thrown our way. 
 
Since 2019, we’ve increased our monthly output by over 𝟗𝟎 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐬 and 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐝 our arsenal of machines. But none of this would have been possible without our incredible Gerrbik family. Each and every one of us has poured our blood, sweat, and tears into getting to where we are today. 
 
A huge thank you to our families for standing by us through the highs and lows, our loyal customers for trusting us, and everyone who has supported us along this journey. 
 
The road ahead is looking even bigger and brighter — and we’re just getting started.

Today we remember a very special man — Robert ‘Bob’ Stewart, the original founder of Complete Workwear Services, now known as Gerrbik Laundry Services.

Bob left us to join the dreamtime on January 3rd, 2021, but his legacy continues to live on through both his family and his work family who loved him deeply.

Wishing you a heavenly happy birthday, Bob.
