• Identify safely: Do not touch or handle snakes to identify them. Instead, take a photo or consult a professional.
• Be aware of your surroundings: Ensure that you wear protective clothing and stay alert when walking around bushland.
• Keep your yard clean: Keep your yard free of clutter, this can attract rodents and snakes.
