Wrap up day and only more pigs, only a short program but 4 dogs and 9 pigs. Check out the last boar I got, I’m still amazed how the little WTS #3 hold these big boys.

Check 6 and finally another dog this morning a bitch, you will see by the picture I think I did this one a favour as covered in sarcoptic mange didn’t even touch it got it out of the trap and pulled the trap out.

Another day without a dog but the pigs keep coming 🍻

Check 3 with 1 dog, I didn’t put up a picture as the keyboard warriors like to winge about not fully grown dogs. Check 4 and like the last run the pigs are finding my traps, 3 pigs and no dogs but I will keep trying 🍻🍻

Out on a new trap run, brand new country that hasn’t been trapped, a few traps in the first day for no result, more traps in and the second check with 2 dogs and some more traps in the ground hopefully more to come. And a bonus or two 🍻🍻

So wrapping up this trap run, 10 dogs and 16 pigs I would consider that a successful 10 days with 8 checks after getting the traps into the ground. I’ve got a couple more trap lines to do in the next few weeks so hopefully will have some more stuff to come. If anyone wants something else I’m not showing like how and where I set, what scents are working and what’s not, let me know and I’ll see what I can do cheers and thanks you for your comments and views beers and cheers 🍻🍻

Well trap pulling day has come and gone with no dogs but 8 pigs, 4 trapped and 4 shot. Doing the run today I come up to a double set and the big log I was using on one of the traps was gone, so with much excitement I followed up the drag marks up a very scrubby creek hopping for a big dog but you guessed it another really big boar you will see what I mean in the picture 🍻🍻

How good are these WTS number 3 traps, caught and held all 3 of these pigs with the big boar getting close to the 100kg it was all I could do to drag him.

Check day 7 and 3 dogs, that’s 9 in total = happy trapper🍻🍻 they come in all sizes and shapes but the one thing they have in common is they are dangerous around just born livestock

I can highly recommend these 300mm landscaping screws, this trap caught a big dog the other day and today this boar, it did come up a little but still held. I use 2 in softer ground but the drill is hammering all the way, the pig was a 80kg plus and the trap is reset on the same screw after drilling it down 🍻🍻 I’ve seen Clark Mcghie use and happy with them too
