New national regulations have seen a shake-up in the home sewage treatment industry.

The government published a new Australian Standard for advanced sewage system in 2017 which has now come into effect. Australian Standards are living documents that reflect progress in science, technology and systems.

Onsite secondary sewage systems need to be accredited by the state government before they can be installed.

The True Water team recently completed a Home Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrade to replace a failed septic system in the Byron Shire area. The new FujiClean ACE1200 and subsurface irrigation for dispersal of the treated effluent, has been designed to service an existing 4 bedroom home in Myocum. Our team worked with the homeowners and the council to deliver a wastewater treatment solution that will safely and consistently provide sewage management for the home for many years to come.

Our Home Sewage Specialists recently completed this install on Micalo Island of a FujiClean ACE Advanced Secondary Treatment System complete with a remote Control Box for easy access. The sub surface drip irrigation will keep the lawns green and the client plans to landscape around the system so it will disappear from view.

This year has been another eventful one, with some exciting new systems and collaborations within the confines of the restrictions brought about by the COVID pandemic. Through the dedication of our staff, collaborators and associated businesses, we continue to delivery quality wastewater treatment systems and reliable asset management to all of our projects.

We’re taking a break over the Christmas and New Year period. Our offices will be closed from Thursday 23th December, 2021 and will reopen on Tuesday 11th January, 2022. We will, however, be providing uninterrupted service to our asset maintenance clients during the break for any urgent enquiries you may have.
