I haven't posted anything exciting for a while.
The termite mound you see in the corner of this room, covers a sink. From what I could find out at the time, is it's over 10 years old.
Have to be the biggest nest I think I've come across, inside a building.

If you look closely, you will see some motled white. There is a dead rodent in the catchment.
The rodents are getting in via the roof and into the roof guttering to access the downpipes. They are able to get into the roof and run amok.
The home is highset and has gutter proofing the is fixed by screws.

If you think you are going to see termites before they get to your place. Anywhere up to 50 metres from any active site is within reach of the termite system. The house was within 10 metres.
