Now that we’ve come back down to earth from the Old Bar Beach Festival, it’s pretty incredible to think about where it all begins.
An empty field that, in a matter of days, transforms into a sea of marquees, incredible live music, hundreds of metres of market stalls, some of the best food vendors Australia has to offer, rides galore and thousands of people coming together to enjoy everything our little coastal community has to offer.
What makes it even more impressive is the work that happens behind the scenes. An enormous amount of planning, preparation and hard work goes into bringing an event of this scale to life, much of it thanks to an incredible committee and a team of volunteers who give so generously of their time.
For us at Outside IN Property Services, it’s an absolute privilege to be invited back year after year to play our part in maintaining the festival grounds and keeping everything running smoothly throughout the event.
Shane reckons this year ran like a well-oiled machine, and that’s a pretty incredible achievement considering the sheer scale of what goes into pulling it all together.
A massive congratulations to the organisers, committee, volunteers, vendors, entertainers and everyone who travelled from near and far to make this year’s festival what it was.
We’re proud to play even a small part in something that brings so much life, tourism and community spirit to our region.
And if you ask Shane, he’s already counting down to next year!
