POSITION: Business Development Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager is a high-impact position responsible for managing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities and delivering our products and services satisfactorily. You are accountable for exceeding targets, proactive client management, forecast accuracy, and driving adoption/usage with customers and prospects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
CORE OBJECTIVES
The core objectives of this position is to:
• Be a driving force in achieving the company’s goals and objectives through individual sales quotas.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts within your geographical territory
• Actively search for and pursue new business opportunities, including business networking, reviewing and active participation, completion, submission and negotiation in relation to Expressions of Interest, Quotations and Tenders.
• You will cultivate and develop relationships with key stakeholders within your target market and be at the forefront of the sales and negotiation process, from the initial capabilities’ presentation until close.
• Account management and retention of existing customers to harvest new and cross-selling opportunities.
• Build and execute account plans and strategies for each key account to ensure growth and retention
• Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement through the proper use of sales tools and the understanding of the sales process
COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS/ATTRIBUTES
• Track record of over-achieving quota in a current or past sales position
• Cleaning, Facility Management and Hygiene Service industry experience (highly desirable)
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in account management or new business development
• Ability to identify client needs and solution sell
• Ability to manage a strong pipeline of opportunities (minimum 12 months in advance)
• Highly motivated self-starter, eager to learn and determined to adapt quickly
• Ability to manage high-end professional negotiations
• Experience managing multiple concurrent client relationships
• Strong computer skills
• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong desire to succeed professionally
• Strong willingness to provide high-quality customer service and positive results for clients
