Pool in emu plains needed a well deserved upgrade on filtration and Chlorinator and pool lights. Installed the Pentair 25 inch sand filter with glass media, Madimack variable speed pump, Saltmate rp20 self cleaning chlorinator. The lights were 2 x old pal 2000 halogen style and were replaced with the Aquaquip multi
Colour led retro lights with one touch remote system.

Another builder tries to build pool 😉 I love the pre plumb they do and expect me to not only make it look neat but give me less than 2 square meters for heater and equipment….anyway I installed the Madimack heat pump with wifi and Madimack pump and Chlorinator wifi enabled and Pentair sand filter with glass media.

Did an install for an old pensioner in my area. They went and purchased everything except the Chlorinator from Bunnings and got the Chlorinator from somewhere else. I did them a good deal even though I only charged labour but I did warn them about quality. They may look like the same filters and pumps but all they are is cheap copies of Davey and other well known brands. As expected the fibreglass on the sand filter was terrible and the weave was different all over the place. It started to bubble and I showed the client and said put in a claim now so they know about it. Doesn’t leak but blows bubbles every time the pressure turns on and off

With glass media. If you get a sand media replaced make sure they don’t just empty most of it and put new media ontop without cleaning the filter completely.

This job was seriously pretty easy but looks very difficult. The client had purchased a property where the old owner had done all of his own plumbing and made a mess of it so the new owner never had the confidence to use pool and equipment. I made it as simple as possible and added a waste line adapterfor their convenience.
