Juan Carlos wrapped up this end of lease clean in Mascot yesterday, including full carpet steam cleaning to help get the property inspection-ready.

End of lease cleaning is very different from a standard house clean. You're not cleaning for day-to-day living. You're cleaning for an inspection where agents often notice the details most people overlook.

Things like built-up grease around rangehood filters, marks on skirting boards, dust sitting on top of wardrobes and kitchen cabinets, and carpet traffic marks can all become sticking points during final inspections.

Steam cleaning carpets can also make a huge difference, especially in high traffic areas where dirt and odours become trapped deep in the fibres.

Claudia and Angelica absolutely smashed out this office deep clean in Sydney CBD recently. 👏

Office cleaning in the CBD always comes with its own set of challenges. Parking can be a mission, so whenever possible we work with businesses to access onsite parking and keep things running smoothly for our teams.

Timing is another factor. Most offices need cleaning completed outside business hours, which means careful coordination and planning to make sure everything is spotless and ready for staff the next day.

What stood out on this job was the attention to detail. We went beyond the standard scope and tackled areas many offices overlook, including the tops of kitchen cabinets where dust and grime quietly build up over time.

It's often the little things people don't immediately notice that make the biggest difference to how clean a workplace feels.

Jonathan spent the entire day completing this end of lease clean in Tempe and the final result came up beautifully.

A lot of people don’t realise that a proper end of lease clean is far more detailed than a standard house clean. Every surface, fitting, cupboard, skirting board and wet area needs to be cleaned to inspection-ready standard.

At MaidForYou, our standard end of lease cleaning service is designed around what Sydney real estate agents and property managers typically check during a final inspection. That means detailed cleaning throughout the internal areas of the property, with a strong focus on kitchens, bathrooms, floors, walls, fixtures and presentation.

It’s also important to understand what is and isn’t included. Our standard end of lease clean does not include balcony cleaning, carpet steam cleaning or exterior windows unless specifically added to the booking beforehand. Those services require additional equipment, time and specialised processes.

One thing we never do is rush these jobs. Larger or more detailed properties can take an entire day, and sometimes even multiple days, depending on the condition of the home. We’d rather allocate the proper time and do the work thoroughly than cut corners to get through jobs faster.

Jonathan and Daniela completed a detailed clean of this large 5-bedroom home in Constitution Hill over two days, and the client was extremely happy with the result.

For larger homes, we usually send a dedicated team of 2 to 3 professional cleaners and allow the job to be completed properly over one or two days, depending on the condition and scope of work.
