KAE launches AQUA_IQ
KAE are an Australian Engineering Consulting firm, trading since 1999.
The KAE team have used their talents & Aquatic Engineering expertise to bring a new swimming pool and spa controller to the Australian market.
The controller has spent years in development and has now successfully completed field trials.
The AQUA_IQ controller is packed with options & smarts that allow any pool or spa (or both) water to be continuously monitored and controlled to maintain water quality.

Time:

The AQUA IQ controller runs your system for the shortest possible time to maintain water quality. We do the grunt work of water cleaning during your client’s lowest energy use period. If there are electrical solar panels the AQUA IQ can check if it’s a sunny day and run the pool system to use solar power generated for free.
Feedback:
The AQUA IQ has integrated help icons that inform you of what things mean and what targets we are aiming for.
We provide a quarterly report which details your energy consumption for every item, how long each item ran for and so on.
We will tell you what your CO2 emissions were for each quarter.
You will be provided charts of how your clients pool performed for each water quality parameter.
Of course, you can connect to the controller from anywhere in the world via any device, connected to the internet.

Safety features including turning off the main pump when the skimmer box is blocked. If you have poor power supplies to your pool equipment, we will limit what can be turned on at the same time, protecting your cabling.
Automatic alerts are sent to you if your input is required. As an example, we will let them know when a back wash is required or when and how much salt is required to be added.
Our controls have energy usage reduction at the forefront. We run equipment, only as required, automatically, at lowest electricity rate periods...so if you don't need to be running that 2 kW pump all day..it wont.

Retrofit Solutions:
• Controller: Simply mount our controller within the pool enclosure
• Pumps: plug in each pump into our 240 Volt power outlets.
• Lighting transformers: plug in each transformer into our 240 Volt power outlets
• Valves: connect each 24V AC valve into provided LV terminal strip
• Sensor: Install within 50mm pipework.
• Flow meter: Install within 50mm pipework
• Heater: Connect cable to heater terminals to start/stop heater
• Comms: Select clients wifi and enter their password
• Got to settings online and select which items you are controlling.
Hidden advantages:
Salt Cell - On many retrofit projects the salt cell controller is at the end of its life. The AQUA IQ comes equipped with up to 2, 24V power supplies to supply power to most salt cells. Our controller does the rest. This means you save the cost of a salt cell controller.
Solar Controller - The AQUA IQ comes with integral solar control. Add our wifi roof temperature sensor and return water temperature (if independent circuit) and your ready to go. This means you save the cost of a solar controller. Existing sensors...we can use these. You can also use our industry first roof temperature algorithm..avoids the need for a roof sensor.
Main Pump Speed Control - Select our variable frequency drive and your low cost fixed speed pump is now variable speed. AQUA IQ controls take over from here. This means you lower the cost of a variable speed pumping buy purchasing a low cost single speed pump.
