If you are following to the letter one of the other 1000 rules, then be rest assured by the time you have learnt the meaning of whatever rule you are following, that rule’s interpretation will have changed so subtlely, but so significantly, you might as well feel like you are on a different planet and that She who must be Obeyed is an alien, and you are as alien yourself to her!

A very important Rule hence why it is right up there on the numbering as part of the 12 Essential Rules!

Rule no 2 or maybe 3 depending if you prefer riding your bike or making love with your wife- I’ll leave that up to you to decide, but I warn you the happy wife happy life might think you should get on your bike more often, especially tonight!

Rule no 77 under the “ Wife and Computer” category

Never leave your wife unsatisfied or alone on any laptop trying to learn a new software problem for fear of receiving it on top of your head in bed!

Be attentive to her mounting frustration as evidenced by screaming, uncontrollable crying and general unhappiness!

Rule no 888 - This is a big one and is under the Bathroom and Toileting Category

When you are doing no 1s please double flush!

Hard to remember after washing your hands after the first flush and then remembering to go back to the flush button for a second time. Maybe Dr Koala needs to reduce his gum leave fibre intake!

The 1001 Rules will be divided up into several actually many categories, which mean it might take me a while to explain them all.

In any case my “She Who Must be Obeyed” is always coming up with new ones to keep “ You know Who” on his toes.

From now on I am going to refer to the heaven above as “SWMBO”- would have been nice if I could add a capital “I” in the acronym so it would become SWIMBO!

I’m going to pronounce it as if it were SWIMBO anyway!
