Oxidation is a problem on many headlights, due to the fact headlights used in modern cars are made from polycarbonate plastic and then sprayed over with clear coat.

Our process includes sanding the old oxidized headlights, compounding and polishing the headlights and then applying a ceramic coating to prevent reoxidation in the near future.

Brand new Volkswagen Golf R with only 3000kms on the clock in need of a stage one paint correction and ceramic coating.

After performing several test sections we locked in a combo and got to work. We were able to significantly boost the gloss and the car definately looks better than new. The steps taken:

✔️Prewash rinse
✔️Snowfoam
✔️Hand wash (2 bucket method)
✔️Tyre and wheel clean
✔️Windows cleaned (exterior)
✔️Hand dry
✔️Chemical decontamination of paint (bug, iron)
✔️Clay decontamination
✔️Ipa wipedown
✔️Single stage of paint correction
✔️Nano4life Ceramic Coating applied
✔️External plastic trim dressing
✔️Tyre dressing
✔Seats ceramic coated

Our best headlight restoration to date, even we were surprised with the outcome. These headlights were heavily oxidised and in need of some elbow grease, a good compound and polishing stage, then to finish it all we ceramic coated them to keep them from reoxidation. 💪💪
