We’re looking for either a 4th Year Apprentice OR Fully Qualified Plumber

• Maintenance plumbing (majority real estate & schools)
• Tap washers, blockages, roof leaks
• Appliance installations and repairs
• Fault finding & gas appliance diagnostics/diagramming
• Occasional renovation work

• Strong maintenance experience
• Confident working independently
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Clean driver’s licence
• Working With Children Check
• Gas appliance knowledge highly regarded

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The successful applicant will undertake general maintenance plumbing and gas fitting tasks, primarily focused on real estate maintenance, school maintenance, and small renovations.

The role will involve a diverse range of tasks, including general maintenance, blockages, dig outs, roofing, gas fitting, split system installations, and more.

Most work will be based in Sunbury, Macedon Ranges and surrounds.

Uniform and workwear will be supplied, and there is potential for a work vehicle to be provided for the right candidate.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you must be hardworking, punctual, and well-presented.

You must also be willing to learn, able to take direction, and work effectively in a team environment.

A Victorian driver’s license is essential, and you must be willing to undergo a police check and obtain a Working with Children Check.

You must also be up-to-date with trade school requirements.

Looks like Melbourne is in for yet another drenching… for us, that means roof leaks!

If you are suffering from leaks from your roof or gutters DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GET ON A WET ROOF! Roof tiles and tin roofs both get extremely slippery when wet and it only takes a split second for a bad situation to become life changing!

Manage the leak as best you can with towels and buckets and if it gets bad enough contact the SES and they can come out and tarp the area until a plumber or roof tiler can safely access the roof and complete repairs once the rain has stopped and the roof has dried out.
