In order to deliver regular maintenance services, we must first create the standard to which we will maintain your home. We do this by performing a deep clean.

The team focus on areas of dust, dirt, and grime build-up throughout the entire home. A first-time clean is more labour intensive than regular maintenance services, and can take 1.5 to 2 times the duration.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻?

To access as much surface area as possible, the team move furniture, bring extension poles, and lift up rugs and other objects.

Cornices, corners, architraves, skirting, windowsills, blinds, fans, and light shades throughout the home are cleaned. We clear all horizontal surfaces for cleaning and reposition cleaned décor. Upholstery and soft furnishings are thoroughly vacuumed, along with rugs and floors.

A first-time bathroom clean is scrub intensive and requires a range of specialty products to remove scum, mould, and grime. Every nook and cranny is scrubbed clean, rinsed thoroughly, and polished to a shine.

The team will wash all horizontal and vertical surfaces in the kitchen from floor to ceiling. We deep clean the microwave, rangehood and stove top. Rubbish and recycling spaces are disinfected. Benchtops are cleared, washed, and polished along with appliances, splashbacks, and whitegoods fronts.

Lastly, hard floors are washed according to type and condition, and the team will reposition the furniture and rugs as they work their way out of your home.

𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹

Firstly, do not use a dry cloth as you will release spores into the air, spreading the mould and posing a health hazard.

Most supermarket mould removers contain hazardous chemicals and should be used according to directions. They may only bleach rather than kill the mould, which means it will keep returning.

🌀 Use a mild detergent such as sugar soap and a wet microfibre cloth.

🌀 For staining, spray with peroxide and allow to dwell.

🌀 Dry the cleaned area thoroughly using a dry cloth.

Regular cleaning and good ventilation in wet rooms will help prevent mould. Found early, mould is much easier to keep under control. When allowed to spread, mould spores are notoriously difficult to eradicate.
