So sweet little snowy went home today all clean and smelling amazing. Thanks Leanne for allowing me to work with snowy, I had so much fun. It's so satisfying to see a customers reaction when they get their orders back so clean and fresh.

Snowy Dog has been part of my life for at least 40 years.

My Nan gave him to me when I was a very young girl and he quickly became one of those childhood treasures that somehow stays with you. I can’t remember exactly how old I was when I got him but he has been with me for as long as I can remember.

Through childhood, growing up and all the different chapters of my life, Snowy stayed with me. He has been very well loved over the years and eventually he developed a little hole and was definitely looking his age.

Recently, while decluttering, I found Snowy again and I was absolutely overjoyed. I even video called my mum and held him up to the camera. She recognised him instantly and knew exactly who he was and how special he has always been to me.

There was never any question that Snowy wasn't going anywhere.

Because of his age and sentimental value, I was far too nervous to attempt repairing or cleaning him myself. That’s when I found Donna at Sew Affordable, who carefully repaired his little hole and Rebecca at imPRESSed by Bec, who gave him a beautiful gentle clean and freshen up.

I couldn’t be happier with the result. Snowy looks amazing but most importantly, he still looks like my Snowy. He hasn’t been made to look new, he’s still the same well loved little dog I’ve had for more than four decades.

A huge thank you to Donna and Rebecca for taking such wonderful care of something that means so much to me.

I would absolutely recommend both of them to anyone who has a much loved, sentimental toy that needs some special care.
