Just a few photos of jobs finished over the last week or so. The photos represent the Veterans and their Families desire to keep the memory alive of those who gave so much for us to enjoy the freedoms we have today. Now that ANZAC Day has come and gone, the medals are put away in their dark sacred place and will see the light of day in another year, maybe time to bring them out, have them tidied up and mounted in an Honour Board- to share their story with friends and guests, and how much their memory means to various members of the Family. Just a few photos of some of the Medal jobs gone out in the past few weeks. The lead up to ANZAC day is always hectic, but the jobs go out on time and on budget to put valued clients. Anzac Day is fast approaching and it may be time to get your Dad’s, Grandfather’s, Great Grandfather’s or your Veteran Ancestors medals out of the drawer or cupboard and cleaned and remounted ready to wear to remember them.
The cost to have the medals remounted is only $20.00 each, ready to wear. Need Replica Medals, they are only $30.00 each, fully Court Mounted and ready to wear. All work comes with an unconditional warranty on the Medal, Ribbon and Workmanship. Just send an enquiry to [email protected] and we will respond within 24 hours. Completion time is two to three weeks from the time you place the order.

I would like to thank Jason for his continued business and trust in the dedication and workmanship of Northside Medals.

I wish to convey my deepest sympathies to the Families of the two slain Queensland Police Officers, cowardly murdered in the line of Duty.
RIP, your Duty is done but you will never be forgotten by those who respect the Law and sleep safely at night knowing you have our backs.

As a young Australian I was taught to respect our Veterans and to uphold their values and ideals. I remember that at the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month we would stand in our classrooms, stand still in the street, stop cooking, ironing, and all the other chores we had to do, pull over if driving, basically stop whatever we were doing and stand in Reverence for one minute in complete Silence to remember our Fallen Heroes of the Wars that we had fought in. Times may have changed, a faster, smaller less respectful world that we live in. Remembrance Day is a day to acknowledge the end of WW1, the Sacrifices made by our Ancestors to give us Peace and the Sacrifices made by all those who fought under the Australian National Flag in the many conflicts since. I hope that on the 11th of November when the time reaches 11 am that you can spare that precious minute to show your Respect for those who gave their tomorrows so that you can have your today. I will stand for the Minute to remember my Grandfather from WW1 at Gallipoli and my Father from WW2 in New Guinea and Korea, normal men with a love for Peace and Family who did their Duty to protect this great Country.
