Under New Ownership

When I was 19, I cleaned the home of a friend as a gesture. The gratitude I received was fulfilling and the passing comment of “you could do this as a business” stuck with me. A few weeks later, I purchased a business name, cleaning supplies and started to drop off business flyers in letter boxes. I was nervous, scared but also ambitious to make this business successful.

In 12 months, my small business awarded me with the ‘Outstanding New Business’ Award in 2015 and finalists in the Local Business Awards and Australian Small Business Champion Awards in the years to follow. My business grew and continued to grow. I’ve employed staff along the way and I’ve had the privilege of empowering other women and providing them with flexible employment opportunities.

I am most grateful for the clients that my business has brought me, I have met and built relationships with amazing people who over time became family and work didn’t feel like a job but more like a social outing.

Then in 2019, with the support of my employees Robbie-Lee and Lia, I was able to take a step back from the business I built and begin my career as a High School Teacher. Since this transition Robbie-Lee has taken on more responsibility and much like myself she has built relationships and families with the existing and new clients.

Krystal Kleaning is a successful business and it’s success is going to thrive further. Today, Krystal Kleaning Domestic & Commercial has a new owner, Robbie-Lee. It gives me great pleasure to pass my business onto another hard-working, young women, who has the passion to grown and nurture this business further. Krystal Kleaning for many years has been my pride and joy and I have so many emotions attached as I farewell the ownership and everything that I have put into Krystal Kleaning, but in return I couldn't be prouder of Robbie. Robbie is far more deserving of this business than anyone else and I believe I am in the position where I can help somebody else and that is Robbie. I want to give her the opportunity to build an empire. I believe she can.

Thank you to Robbie-Lee for being an amazing employee. Thank you to my clients, for being supportive and loyal to myself and Krystal Kleaning. Thank you to my family, for standing by me through all my crazy ideas and my stubbornness to be successful. Thank you to my fiancé for comforting me through this decision and for reminding me that this is not giving up or failure; it is me giving myself and someone else an opportunity.

I wish Robbie-Lee all the best with Krystal Kleaning Domestic & Commercial as she embarks this new adventure as ‘Boss Lady’. I know you will do an amazing job.

Good Evening,

**Following tonight’s Cabinet meeting and Prime Ministers announcements we are implementing new workplace procedures. Krystal Kleaning is currently still able to provide services under the following conditions until further notice;

1. *Social Distancing measures of 4metre squared are in place.* We kindly ask our staff and clients to maintain 4meters of social distancing. To best follow this practice we are requesting only 1 person in a room at a time for the safety of our clients and staff. If our staff are removing themselves from a room please do not take offence, they are simply following recommended procedures for the safety of us all.

2. Clients who have returned from overseas since the 1st of March we will suspend your cleans for 14days. Please keep us informed.

3. People who have been in close contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 should monitor their health, seek medical advice and advise our staff before your next clean. We will then suspend your clean for 14days.

4. It is recommended that people wash their hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, before and after eating and after going to the bathroom.

5. Cover your cough and sneeze, dispose of tissues, and wash your hands.

6. If you are unwell please inform our staff before your clean and we will kindly reschedule to a more suitable time. We appreciate your cooperation in this difficult time.
