Let's clear up the biggest myth in pool ownership: saltwater does not mean chemical-free (unless it's the ocean!) 🌊

A salt chlorinator is still making chlorine, just from salt instead of a bottle. Same red eyes, same dry skin.

Bionizer works differently. Copper and silver ions do the sanitising, so you're not relying on high chlorine levels to keep the water safe. Add the Eco-Oxidizer PRO and pH BOSS your water stays clear without extra dosing.

Send this the neighbour that tells you their saltwater pool is "chemical-free" πŸ‘€

"What is a Bionizer, actually?" We get this question multiple times a week, so let's answer it properly. πŸ‘‡

It's a pool system that swaps chlorine for copper and silver ions to control algae and bacteria. Pair it with the Eco-Oxidizer and pH BOSS and you've got a low-maintenance, low-chemical pool that's genuinely gentle on skin and hair.

Still curious? Ask away in the comments, we read all of them.

Winter pools don't need daily attention, but they do need this. 🧊

Every 2 weeks: test pH and copper, clear the skimmer, check for leaf buildup, and make sure your pump timer has dropped to winter hours (4–6 hrs/day is plenty).

Skip this and you'll likely open your pool in spring to cloudy water, algae, or a bigger repair bill than you needed.

Save this post so it's easy to find in a fortnight.

"My daughter's skin used to react to the chlorine, her hair would break, and we would all get sore eyes. NO MORE." πŸ’™

This is exactly why families switch to Bionizer. For the skin that doesn't dry out, the eyes that don't sting, and the pool everyone actually wants to swim in.

If chlorine sensitivity has ever stopped someone in your house from enjoying the pool, this one's for you.

The Eco-Oxidizer PRO is back in stock. πŸŽ‰

If cloudy water, extra clarifiers, or "why does my pool look dull today" has ever crossed your mind, this is the fix.

It works alongside your Bionizer system to break down body oils, sunscreen and sweat before they cloud your water or feed algae. No extra chemicals. No guesswork. Just cleaner, clearer water, automatically.

What's new in the PRO model:
β†’ Variable output settings = more power
β†’ Cells last 4–8 years (up from the original)
β†’ Crystal clear water even during high bather load or heavy rain

Already a Bionizer owner? This is a straightforward upgrade.
New to Bionizer? This is the missing piece that makes chemical-free pools actually low-maintenance.

Pool owners have their own language. Here's the translation guide nobody asked for. πŸ˜‚

"I'll check it later" = I will not check it
"The colour looks fine to me" = I haven't tested it in 3 weeks
"We barely use the pool" = It's green
"I'll call the pool guy" = I googled it, read 6 forums, gave up, and did nothing
"We're switching to Bionizer" = I am finally, FINALLY done with chemicals πŸ’™

If you've said any of these out loud, you are not alone. We hear them every single week.

The good news? The last one has a very happy ending.

Which one are you most guilty of?

We asked our customers what changed after switching to Bionizer. Their answers surprised even us. πŸ’™

We expected people to talk about the water quality. The reduced chemicals. The maintenance savings.

And they did.

But mostly? They talked about their kids.

"My daughter hasn't had an eczema flare since we switched. She swims every day now and I don't dread bath time anymore." β€” Michelle, VIC ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"By the end of the day our kids eyes burned terribly. Now they swim all day long without irritation or sore eyes." β€” David, QLD ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Here's what the before and after actually looks like for Bionizer families:

BEFORE
❌ $150–$200/month in chemicals
❌ Dry, itchy skin after every swim
❌ Chlorine smell on towels, hair and clothes
❌ Kids with red eyes and tight chests
❌ Weekend maintenance that nobody enjoyed

AFTER
βœ… 90% less chlorine needed
βœ… Soft skin and no chemical smell
βœ… Kids who ask to swim every single day
βœ… A pool the whole family actually loves
βœ… Less time maintaining, more time enjoying

This is what a pool is supposed to feel like.

Already a Bionizer customer? Share your before and after in the comments we'd love to hear your story πŸ’™

If you have a saltwater pool and think you're swimming chemical-free... you need to read this. πŸ‘‡

We're not here to scare you. We're here to give you the actual facts, because the pool industry has done a really good job of making saltwater sound like a natural, chemical-free alternative.

It isn't.

Here's the truth about saltwater pools:

❌ MYTH: Saltwater pools don't use chlorine
βœ… FACT: Your salt cell converts salt into chlorine. It's a chlorine generator. You're still swimming in chlorine, your pool is just making it on-site.

❌ MYTH: Saltwater is gentler on skin and eyes
βœ… FACT: Because chlorine is still present, you still get the same skin dryness, eye irritation and hair damage. The concentration varies but the chemical is identical.

❌ MYTH: Saltwater pools are low maintenance
βœ… FACT: Salt cells need regular cleaning, pH drifts more quickly in saltwater, and the cells need replacing every 3–7 years at significant cost.

So what DOES a genuinely low-chlorine pool look like?

Copper and silver ionisation, like the Bionizer system sanitises your water while the Eco-Oxidizer PRO creates chlorine to oxidise your pool but heres the thing, our system creates just 10% of the chlorine of other systems meaning your pool water will have less chlorine than your tap water!

Link in bio to understand how it actually works. πŸ’™

Send this to every saltwater pool owner you know πŸ‘† they'll thank you for it.

Imagine opening your pool in September to water so clear you can see every tile. 🌊

That's not luck. That's what happens when you use the next 10 weeks of winter to get ahead.

The pool owners who do THIS now will be swimming in a resort-style backyard come spring. The ones who don't will be scrambling in September while the pool guys are fully booked.

Here's your winter-to-spring prep list πŸ‘‡

🌿 Deep clean your pool surrounds NOW, cooler weather makes it easier and nothing feels better than a fresh start before summer

🌱 Plant this week, whatever you plant in July will be established and lush by November. Don't wait until October when it's too hot and too late.

πŸ”§ Book your pool service in the next 2 weeks, tradies are filling up fast for spring. If you wait until September, you'll be waiting until November.

πŸ›‹οΈ Upgrade your outdoor furniture while winter sales are on, this is the BEST time to buy. Prices go up the moment the sun comes back.

πŸ’‘ Check your pool lighting and pump, find out now if something needs replacing, not on the first warm Saturday when the whole family wants to swim.

🎨 Repaint or resurface, a winter job if ever there was one. Dry weather, no pressure to swim, and it'll look incredible come spring.

Which one are you doing first? Drop it below πŸ‘‡

We can tell a lot about you from how you treat your pool water. πŸ‘€

There are 5 types of pool owners. Here's the breakdown:

😬 The Avoider - covers it in April, doesn't touch it until September, then cries when it's green. "It'll be fine." It was not fine.

πŸ§ͺ The Over-Chlorinator - when in doubt, add more chemicals. Eyes burning? More chlorine. Water cloudy? More chlorine. Family developing gills? Probably fine.

πŸ“‹ The Weekend Warrior - tests every 3 days, keeps a spreadsheet, knows their alkalinity off the top of their head. We respect it.

πŸ’» The Google Expert - has read 47 forum posts, knows what cyanuric acid is, still has no idea why it keeps going green.

😌 The Bionizer Owner - reduced chemicals by 90%, spend 15 minutes on weekly maintenance, swims whenever they want. Rarely thinks about their pool water. In a good way.

Which one are you? Drop your type in the comments πŸ‘‡

And tag the pool owner in your life, let's see if they agree with what you pick for them πŸ˜‚
