What is carpet restretching?
It is the process of pulling your carpet tight again so it sits flat across the room.
Over time, carpet loosens. This leads to:
Ripples or waves
Movement under your feet
Edges lifting and fraying
Restretching fixes this by:
Pulling the carpet tight wall to wall
Re-securing it along the edges
Removing slack that causes wear
Why it matters:
Stops fraying from getting worse
Removes trip hazards
Makes your carpet look newer
Most people think they need new carpet.
In many cases, restretching and small repairs fix the problem.
If your carpet feels loose or looks uneven, send us a photo. We will point you in the right direction.
