⚠️ Household Bin Collection Update ⚠️

🎉 Bin collection services will be returning to normal from tomorrow (Monday 10 March).
✅ If your bins were postponed last Thursday 6 March, they will be collected on Monday 10 March.
✅ If your bins were postponed last Friday 7 March, they will be collected on Tuesday 11 March.
⁉️ It may take a day or two to catch up, or some areas may be inaccessible, so leave them on the kerb until serviced. If longer than 48hrs call us on 02 6670 2400.

🌳 For anyone else, if your green bin is full, store your green waste in a safe place until your next collection. We'll have more to share on additional yard or tree waste collection options soon.

⛔ The Stotts Creek Resource Recovery Centre (the Tip) and the JUNKtion Tip Shop remain closed as the site access is flooded, please hold onto your waste until the site re-opens.

NOTE: New changes to what you put in your green bin 🚮

🚫 There are some things your green bin just can’t take anymore.

👉 From now on, only food and green waste belong in this bin.🍈🍗🍤

❗ A new directive from the NSW Environment Protection Authority means that fibre-based products such as paper, cardboard, teabags will no longer be accepted.❌

✅ The good news is these changes mean it’s now much simpler to remember what goes in your green bin!

🌱 More good news: these changes mean we can create more nutrient rich compost from what we collect from green bins across the region. Better compost = healthier soil.
