Sorry all house cleans are cancelled this week as my team all have influenza A and B.
I will attend to any important cleans as Im currently well and quarantining but there’s only so many I can attend to as I also have another job.
It’s going around please keep an eye out for any symptoms, test immediately and stay safe! Also if you are sick or are showing symptoms please notify anyone who is going to your household to keep them safe.

Clients please read

Just a heads up that not all cleans will be able to take place this week I have staff sick with influenza A and B and as I’m currently working 2 jobs there’s only so many cleans I can do (im keepingmy fingers firmly crossed that it doesn’t get me I have far too much to deal with tgis week).
I will notify you if your clean won’t take place as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding.

Hi everyone
It has been decided that we will no longer be doing exit cleaning. A huge thankyou to everyone who tagged us but due to taking on more regular government cleaning we just don’t have the time anymore.
Also a big Thank you to my clients, regular staff and new staff who accepted all the changes recently. After a couple of learning weeks staff are all working well together and in the past week I have received some positive feedback. Thank you staff for your hard work and Thank you clients for accepting the staff into your homes.
Unfortunately I won’t be attending to many cleans in future due to other work commitments and concentrating mainly on the government cleans but I am only a message away if you need anything.

Clients please read

It seems to be happening a lot that staff and myself are going to work to find clients are sick with influenza A, Covid or gastro and have not cancelled their services.
I will say for a final time if you are sick or a member of your household sick please cancel. From now on if we arrive and you haven’t canceled yet are sick my staff and I will leave. I can’t afford for my staff to get sick nor can I afford to catch it seeing as I battle with an autoimmune disease and such things can make me really ill.
Honestly at the end of the day I think health is more important than a house clean.

Hello everyone

It’s been a while since I’ve been on the site but I want to let you know whilst I may be quiet business is still going strong.
I just wanted to let everyone know I am available for any once off cleans (spots limited each week), I have a couple of spots that have become available in Port Pirie or Napperby and 1 spot available in Crystal Brook for regular fortnightly or weekly cleans.

I am also still doing exit cleans however these are limited but if you do require 1 please book in as soon as possible to secure a spot.

I am also a fully qualified support worker having done cert 3 in Community Services, Health and Aged Care, I have experience in Aged Care and Disability Support also, I have my NDIS certification, police check, insurance and ABN so if you require any services such as shopping, social support etc through NDIS I would be happy to help.

As we are nearing the end of the year I would like to wish our valued clients a very Merry Christmas.
Your business is truly appreciated.
I would also like to take this opportunity to squash some rumors that NO we have not ceased business Mel’s Organic Cleaning Services is still running well however many staff have moved on to new adventures and I am also working part time therefore it meant cutting down the number of cleans we had on our books and continuing on with an amount our now small crew could continue with. I will be attending to cleans I have opted to continue on with on my own and I have a crew of 2 who will attend to regular cleans also.
We are currently full and will advise if a space should become available.
Exit cleans and land agent cleans will continue if my crew are able to accommodate it if no other bookings for such categories aren’t filled on the required date.

Just a friendly reminder that I’m back from holidays so all cleans will resume as normal.
As there was a death in the family whilst I was away some staff will require some time off next week due to funeral etc I will advise if this will affect you.

Customers important announcement

At the end of December 2024 Mel’s Organic Cleaning Services will be ceasing operations to an extent. Kirsten is leaving us after 7 years and I have been lucky enough to be offered full time hours in my recently acquired new job. I have also been battling a hand injury for 3 months from repetitive movement through cleaning which I have been told won’t improve unless I cut back on cleaning.

From January 2025 the 2 staff staying on will be working 2 days cleaning for our NDIS clients, government and selected private house cleans. I will work 1 day per week attending to NDIS, Government and a couple of selected clients.
When we go through our cleans over the coming weeks I will make contact with the clients who we are able to continue with.
After 7 years this has been a huge decision and I apologise if we can’t continue however it’s time for change and looking after ourselves. I want to thank everyone of you for using our services over the years and I look forward to maintaining the many friendships we have made.

Apologies

Due to sickness and injuries over the last fortnight many cleans have had to be cancelled and being the only out of town driver on most days once I’m out we’re all out 😞
Apologies if your clean didn’t get attended to but we need to look after ourselves and also keep our clients safe. Once we are all recovered we will be back as per usual.
