🐾 Pre-Swim Rinse: A quick hose down removes loose fur and oils that can clog your filter.

Don't let a small leak turn into a big winter headache! A hidden leak can waste thousands of litres, and over time, put unnecessary strain on your pool equipment and water balance during cooler months.

Before the temperature drops and you settle into your winter routine, make sure your backyard is watertight. Here is your simple pre-winter leak check:

🔲 Perform a bucket test: Helps confirm whether water loss is due to a leak or normal evaporation.
🔲 Check valves and taps: Make sure all hose connections and fill lines are fully closed and not dripping.
🔲 Inspect pool surfaces: Look closely for cracks in the pool shell, loose tiles, tears, or soft spots, especially in vinyl liners.
🔲 Monitor water level: Watch for consistent or unexplained water loss over a few days.

Winter looks different for every Australian backyard! Depending on your local climate, your pool needs a specific plan to stay healthy until spring.

❄️ For Cooler Regions
