Clocks went forward this morning, and summer sun is on its way.

Solar panels need direct light, and anything sitting on the glass gets in the way. Look at the first photo: the top panel has been cleaned, and the rest still have dust and growth across the cells.

Dirty panels can produce less power than clean ones. On the coast, salt spray and bird droppings add to it.

The second is a hotel rooftop job in Port Macquarie. Not a bad
office.

That green film on your path isn't just ugly. When it's wet, it's slippery.

Shaded paths, pavers and driveways hold moisture, and spring rain gives algae and moss a head start. The first photo is pavers mid-clean: green on the left, clean pavers on the right.

The second is an exposed aggregate path half done, so you can see how much darker the grime makes it.

The third is the next step. Once a surface is clean, a sealer helps water sit on top instead of soaking in, which can slow regrowth.

High walls on a multi-storey building don't always need scaffolding or a lift.

On this job the tech stays on the courtyard deck and reaches the upper levels from there. Less gear on site, a quicker set-up, and less disruption for the people living and working in the building.

We clean apartment blocks, offices and commercial sites across the Mid Nrth Coast, and plan each job around the specific building and its use.

Pool season's close. Here's what a colour seal did for this
surround.

Before: faded and patchy, with dark marks across most of the old stencilled concrete.

After: cleaned, then colour sealed. Same pool, totally refreshed without breaking the bank.

A colour seal puts colour back into tired concrete and adds a non slip
protective coat over the top, which makes the surface easier to keep clean through summer.

Blocked gutters are a problem twice over this summer.

This one was packed end to end with dry palm fronds. The
second shot is the same run after we cleared it with a gutter vac.

Bush fire season: embers can land in gutters and ignite dry
leaves. Clearing gutters is part of the NSW RFS advice for
preparing your home.

Storm season: packed gutters overflow in heavy rain, and water
can back up into the eaves.

Quick check from the ground: plants growing out of the gutter,
water stains down the fascia, or overflow the last time it rained.

We're a 2026 Coastline Bank Greater Port Macquarie Business
Awards winner.

Four years ago MNC Hydro Clean was a one-person business.
Today it's a local crew looking after homes and businesses
across the Hastings.

The award is great, but the part we're proudest of is more than
150 five-star Google reviews from locals who've had us out.

Selling this spring? Buyers see your walls before they see your
kitchen.

This is the same wall, same window, same downpipe. Before:
grey-green mould patches across the weatherboards and grime
built up under the eaves. After: one house wash.

We soft wash the boards and eaves and rinse at low pressure to
protect the paint and window seals.

No paint job. Just a house that looks looked after, which is the
first thing buyers and agents notice when they pull up.

Those black streaks on your roof aren't dirt.

On a tiled roof it's usually algae, mould and lichen. Our coastal
humidity gives them everything they need to grow.

Slide one is how it looks up close. Slide two is a different roof
mid-clean, so you can see cleaned tiles next to untouched ones.
Going at it with a high-pressure cleaner can wear the coating off
concrete tiles and push water under them. We soft wash roofs or treat with algicide instead. These options also slow regrowth.
