Our team together with Projects as the client representative is handing over ensuite and resident room upgrades for our partner Advantage Care, at Minchinbury Manor located in Rooty Hill NSW.

These works support Advantage Care’s commitment to resident safety, comfort and dignity, enhancing the personal spaces residents use every day.

The project includes:
- Installation of four new ensuites
- Refurbishment of four existing ensuites
- Associated refurbishment works across eight resident rooms

Efficient delivery by our project team is helping return rooms to service sooner, reducing vacancy periods and supporting the facility’s occupancy and financial performance.

Behind Trek for Amarli is a family who have spent years caring for their beautiful daughter and bringing people together around a cause that matters deeply to them.

Amarli is a young girl from the Illawarra living with GRIK2, a rare genetic disorder. Through Amarli Army, her family has built a community that shows up for her and for other families living with rare conditions.

CBC is proud to support the event as a Discovery Partner sponsor in 2026, and we’ve formed a Trek Team. On 17 October, our walkers will be taking on the 30 km challenge.

For us at CBC Group, it’s important that we support the communities we’re part of, and that starts with the people in them.

We're excited to announce that CBC Group has been awarded a 3-year Integrated Facility Management (IFM) contract with Nando's. Awarded in May, the contract has successfully progressed through a staged mobilisation including a comprehensive asset audit to 24/7 operational support for approximately 115 locations nationally.

Under this new partnership model, CBC Group will provide:
- Preventative, Statutory, and Reactive Maintenance across Electrical, Hydraulic and Essential Safety Measures (ESM)
- HVAC & Refrigeration Servicing and Maintenance
- 24/7 Support Call centre and Triage services
- A dedicated Account Management team

Essential Safety Measures: Supporting Safer Schools and Peace of Mind

Schools have an important job to do, helping students learn, grow and succeed. Reliable essential safety maintenance helps give school teams peace of mind, so they can focus on delivering positive educational outcomes.

From fire indicator panels, smoke detectors and sprinkler systems to emergency lighting, fire doors, extinguishers and hydrants, these systems need regular inspection, testing and servicing to stay ready when they’re needed most.

In August, CBC Group’s Education and Government portfolio delivered:
✅ 4,392 programmed maintenance tasks scheduled
✅ 4,345 programmed maintenance tasks completed
✅ 98.93% in-month completion rate
✅ 55,508 individually tracked asset maintenance activities
The remaining 1.07% comprises major servicing rescheduled to align with school holiday maintenance, with completion scheduled within the permitted maintenance timeframes.

Behind these numbers are teams checking systems, recording results and addressing faults—helping schools and government facilities manage risk and meet their compliance obligations.

"We planned the sequence around the operation, not the other way around."

As mining operations run leaner and workforce amenities come under the same scrutiny as production infrastructure, contractors need to deliver facility upgrades without disrupting the operations that depend on them.

Our team is delivering a full bathroom refurbishment for one of our mining clients: wet areas sheeted, set and waterproofed, amenities reconfigured, and locker access staged throughout, all while the facility stays operational for the workforce on site. Floor works and plumbing rough-in begin next, run in parallel to keep the program on track. It's an approach built around minimising downtime for the people who rely on the site every day, not just completing the scope.
