A fantastic 2–1 win for the Warilla Wanderers over Kiama Blue in a closely fought match that went right down to the wire.
Captain Tomas led from the front, while a determined defensive effort and strong goalkeeping from Harvie (first half) and Kayden (second half) kept Kiama's chances to a minimum.

Up front, Abel scored both goals, including the late winner, to cap off a brilliant team performance.

CBC Group is proud to have delivered the complete transformation of 's new outdoor playground, officially opened this week and named Mudjingaal — meaning "friends" in the local Dharawal language.
The opening was celebrated with local Aboriginal Elders sharing stories about community and Country while families explored the space and enjoyed morning tea.

Behind the scenes, our team delivered the works from the ground up:
* Removed the original timber boundary fence and replaced it with a new 30m timber lap and cap fence
* Demolished an old brick wall and metal fencing, replacing it with custom security fencing and large access gates
* Replaced ageing pool fencing with new 1200mm timber pencil fencing — purpose-built to keep playgroup children safe during the day and the premises secure after hours
* Designed and installed a custom artwork frame and cover, giving the space a striking, meaningful focal point

This project is a great example of what happens when construction and community come together, a safer welcoming space for BaptistCare families, built with purpose and care.

We're proud to announce CBC Group has been awarded the capital works tender for Whiddon Beaudesert Star Residential Care in Queensland, a 102-bed aged care home delivering specialist services to older Australians in the Scenic Rim region.

The scope is a full facility refresh spanning multiple internal wings including the Fern and Violet (Memory Support) wings, as well as external areas across the site.

Whiddon has been delivering exceptional aged care across NSW and QLD for over 75 years. We're honoured to play a role in uplifting the spaces their residents call home.

We'll be delivering this project in partnership with EPM Consulting Group, who are leading project management across the works.

This NAIDOC Week, CBC Group proudly joins communities across Australia in celebrating 50 Years of Deadly.
This significant milestone honours the generations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities whose strength, leadership and legacy have shaped the NAIDOC movement over the past 50 years.

As part of our ongoing commitment to our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), our teams are participating in a range of activities throughout the week, including educational resources, interactive learning challenges, and team morning teas, creating opportunities to build cultural awareness, encourage meaningful conversations, and deepen our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions.

This National Reconciliation Week, our teams across Australia came together to participate in the "All In" webinar hosted by Evolve Communities.

The 2026 theme, All In, is a call for all Australians to contribute to reconciliation through meaningful action. It reminds us that reconciliation is not the responsibility of a few, but something we all have a role in advancing through our everyday actions, conversations, and decisions.

As CBC Group embarks on our Reflect RAP journey, the webinar provided an opportunity to deepen our understanding of reconciliation and consider how each of us can contribute to creating more inclusive, respectful, and connected workplaces and communities.

Thank you to Evolve Communities for facilitating an engaging session and for creating a space for organisations to learn together.

Today, CBC Group is proud to launch our first Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia.

For more than 30 years, CBC Group has supported Australia’s built environment. Through this RAP, we are committed to strengthening relationships, deepening cultural understanding, and creating meaningful opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We would like to acknowledge and thank everyone who contributed to the development of this RAP, including Reconciliation Australia and Dharawal artist Zachary Bennett-Brook, who created the artwork Gathering Currents. It tells the story of connection, values, and Country. At its heart is a bold central circle, symbolising CBC Group and a place of gathering. Radiating out are three strong bands, repeated to embody Unity, Integrity, and Excellence the values that guide CBC Group. Surrounding elements are designs that honour the land, waterways, and environments where CBC Group works. The colours tie everything together: deep blues for oceans and rivers, rich reds for sacred land, and vibrant pinks and purples for the skies at sunrise and sunset.

We believe Reconciliation is a shared responsibility and we are committed to ensuring this RAP becomes a living part of how we operate every day.
