Replacing a full HVAC system in a 127-bed aged care facility - while residents are still living in it, takes more than technical know-how.

CBC Group recently completed a Design & Construct HVAC replacement at Mildred Symons House for our long-standing partner {{linkedin_mention(urn:li:organization:840259|Anglicare Sydney)}} delivered across five staged phases over nine months.

The project involved the installation of a new air-cooled VRV heat recovery system, improving efficiency, comfort and long-term reliability for the facility. Working within a live aged care environment, our team planned and coordinated each stage to ensure there were zero unplanned disruptions to resident care throughout the upgrade.

Anglicare's Resident Operations Manager said it best: "We would like to thank you and the team for your commitment and professionalism with our staff and especially our residents."

Three years in, Darryl continues to be one of our most adaptable and dependable people, managing a broad portfolio across Retail, Aviation and Health Care Sectors, with a knack for tailoring solutions to fit each client's unique needs.

His background spans facilities coordination in the education sector and maintenance management within the prison system, environments that demand compliance, and calm under pressure. It shows in everything he delivers.

Recent highlights include leading the upgrade of the Coolangatta Fire Training Grounds, the full demolition of the Melbourne Fire Training Ground mock-up aircraft, and rolling out innovative security hardening solutions across major retail stores across QLD, each project a testament to his problem-solving instinct.
