Client Said No Chemicals, No Scent — So We Deep Cleaned Her Bathroom With Just Dish Soap

This client had one rule: no non-organic chemicals, nothing scented — not even vinegar. So we cleaned her entire bathroom top to bottom with just Dawn dish soap.

Dawn is a serious degreaser. We used it to break down mould and lift built-up grime from the grout lines, then detailed with steel wool, a razor blade, and brushes to get into every edge.

For the shower glass and mirrors, we ditched chemicals entirely and used lemons to cut through soap scum, calcium, and mineral deposits.

For the heavy lifting, we ran a Ryobi cordless power scrubber on the walls and a telescopic scrubber on the floors, then went back in with a razor blade and steel wool for the fine detail.

Finished with a dishwashing liquid mop, followed by a damp mop and dry buff.
