Today we had Mark “Coops” Cooper’s tough XB Falcon Coupe in the workshop. 👌

Coops took out the People’s Choice Award at the Northern Steel Car Show, with one of the prizes being a detailing voucher with us here at Benzenes.

Always good to see an XB Coupe in the workshop, and even better when the people at the show were the ones who voted it their favourite.

A very deserving People’s Choice winner. 🙌

The Huracán STO isn't just another Lamborghini.

Built with one purpose in mind, it brings Lamborghini's Super Trofeo race car to the road. Cars like this don't come through the workshop every day, and it's always a privilege to spend a few days bringing them back to their absolute best.

F6 Friday.

The FPV F6 Tornado is one of those cars that enthusiasts have appreciated for years, and it’s easy to see why.

Powered by FPV’s legendary turbo Barra, it delivered effortless performance straight from the factory, with a soundtrack and tuning potential that cemented its place as one of Australia’s all-time great performance cars. While everyone was chasing V8s, those who knew, knew.

Finding examples like this is becoming increasingly difficult. Most have been modified, tuned or simply driven hard over the years, making clean, well-presented Tornados few and far between.

It was a pleasure having this one in not long ago 🙏

I still don’t think this one ever got the recognition it deserved 🔵

While everyone talks about the R32 and R34 GT-Rs, the R33 often gets overlooked. That’s a shame, because cars like this remind you just how special they really are. This isn’t your average R33 either—it’s an LM Limited V-Spec, one of just 102 V-Spec LM Limiteds produced to celebrate Nissan’s Le Mans program.

Champion Blue, subtle LM-specific details, and everything that makes these cars so sought after today. It was a privilege to spend a few days bringing it back to the standard it deserved.

TL50 Tuesday 👌

These Tickford TL50s don't come around very often, especially in the condition this one arrived in.

Based on the AU Fairlane, the TL50 was the luxury flagship of Tickford's T-Series range, combining long-wheelbase comfort with genuine V8 performance. Depending on the series, they came with either the 5.0L Windsor or, in the later T3 cars, the hand-assembled 5.6L stroker Windsor that has become highly sought after today. Production numbers were low from new, making them one of the rarer Australian performance Fords.

This one underwent a full restoration a while back, and it was a privilege to carry out the final detail before it headed home.
