One of the biggest misconceptions we see is that cleaners can guarantee you'll get your bond back.

The truth is... we can't.

Your bond is ultimately decided by your property manager or landlord. They consider much more than just the cleaning, including damage, maintenance issues, missing items, unpaid rent, gardens and more.

What we can guarantee is that we'll complete your clean to a high standard and pay attention to the details that are often overlooked.

🚿 Is it soap scum... or is it glass cancer?

One of the biggest misconceptions we see is people recommending dozens of different cleaning products for cloudy shower glass.

The truth is, not every shower screen can be restored with a different cleaner.

Here's the difference:

🧽 Soap scum and hard water build-up sit on the surface of the glass and can usually be removed with the right products, technique and a bit of elbow grease.

⚠️ Glass cancer (also called glass corrosion or etching) is permanent damage to the glass itself. Over time, minerals from hard water etch into the surface, creating a cloudy appearance that can't simply be cleaned away.

A common misconception comes from before and after photos taken while the glass is still wet. Wet glass often looks crystal clear because the water temporarily fills the tiny etched areas. Once the glass dries, the cloudy patches become visible again.

That's why we always assess shower screens honestly. If it's build-up, we'll remove it. If it's glass cancer, we'll tell you rather than selling you false hope or another miracle product.

Sometimes the cleanest shower screen still won't look brand new and that's completely okay. 😊

Honest advice is just as important as a great clean.
